Free comic book day

So on Saturday some of my friends and I decided to meet up at the mega book store in Sydney since they were having a 'free comic book day' which is held once every month. The store encouraged attendee's to cosplay or dress up since they have prizes etc. I decided to take up the occasion to wear my Candy Sprinkle set that I got for Christmas.

I had trouble with my make-up (still learning) and wig so didn't take too many pictures. As usual, I walked to my train station getting the odd stare as anticipated. It took me a while to find my friends when I got there so in the mean time that I was searching for them I took some pictures in store. It was beyond packed so only took a small amount.

There was a Deadpool display <3

 All dem' ponies~

I'm not a large fan of Doctor Who but this was the biggest collection I've ever seen for sale.

MORE DEADPOOL :D

When I finally found my friends we all went to eat and also, got some stares and then afterwards we chatted as friends do. Then took some pictures of us~ I had a bad make-up/everything day so...yeah.

But all in all, I had a wonderful day out with my friends and getting the chance to dress-up even though it didn't turn out the best ^-^;

Tokyo Pirates review + Candy Sprinkle boxing 2013/ Review

Okay, so this is a review from when I got my 2013 lucky pack last year. I used this SS to get it : http://tokyopirates.blogspot.com.au/p/shopping-service-terms-and-conditions.html . The SS is an extremely lovely, pleasant, polite and hard working girl who tries her best to meet customer needs . I used her as her blog looked very professional and she was extremely wonderful to work with. It was the first time I’d ever used a SS before so was nervous about handing over a heap of money but Tokyo Pirates made sure that I was comfortable and personal and answered all of my questions without hesitation. So I was extremely pleased with this service and will continue to use her service. anyway~

(note: I did sorta rush though with with the pictures since I just absolutely wanted to get to my goodies ^-^; apologies)

The pack was sent in a sturdy box which, in my opinion was a little too big but I guess it can’t be helped. I think she didn't want the goods inside to be squished or anything.

The contents of the inside as shown with my lucky bag ^-^ I’m so happy that I managed to get one and in my desired colour way.

A La Foret sticker on the handle since she went into Harajuku’s AP store and collected it. She charges 4000 yen ($40~ Aud) for in-store/ new releases and lucky packs but she does what ever she can to ensure she get’s your pack/items.

Came with a nice little hand written thank you care from Tokyo Pirates ^-^ the other rest is on the other side and MY GOD! DOES SHE HAVE NEAT WRITING!!! *0*

The pink bag is HUGE! Perfect for storing my petticoats without them going flat. The horse and bag is matching to the Candy Sprinkle Print <3 love the moon.

Everything that was in my LP was in a large plastic bag. The little invoice is that paper but it’s all in Japanese :s

The dress is wonderful! Love it so so much <3 I wasn’t going to try to get it in the start due to the print having a rabbit in the carousal but thankfully I did get it because it’s wonderful. The only downside of this JSK is that it had no built in petticoat that Ap normally has in their prints

The back has shirring and came with the ribbon (took it off).

The lace is in a star pattern with the AP in the center of them. The lace was very soft and like the rest of AP’s lace was of high quality. I also didn’t notice that the bottom of the dress there’s little dots ^-^ blends in nicely.

Also the Bow in front is undetectable yet the straps do have button’s on them so you can adjust them to different lengths.

The button’s are also lovely, I particularly love them. They shine and sparkle wonderfully and was a great feature of the dress that drew me into to buying it. (pardon the wig strands)

The print up close. The rabbits still seem an off for me for some odd reason. I wish they’d just have the horses all the way round.

I heard that the bow sits awkwardly on peoples head and it’s true. It’s awfully big and awfully shaped. I have to wear my memorial cake bow with it to not make it look as odd on my head. The shape isn't the best and the bottom tie part always seems to be more to one side then the other.

The waist ties have the same trim as Candy Fun Fair’s waist ties which makes me happy since I hat to sell my Candy Fun Fair Skirt which I really liked.

The bag was a surprise since it was rather large! I thought it would be smaller when I first looked at the AP website but I was pleasantly mistaken. The bag is soft, another thing didn't realize and it’s very large.

The inside is lined, and has a lot of space to hold the essentials of what you need like phone, mirror, iPod etc. The zipper is sturdy and also has a little heart on the zip. Most AP bags are really really expensive so I’m so happy to be able to have this.

The OTK’s that came with it I love as well since they match and normal brand socks can cost $30 and after seeing these I think I have a new hobby. collecting brand socks.

And finally the blouse. It is absolutely gorgeous. the lace it beautiful, the quality is superb the only down side is that it is way too small for me to fit ;-; I knew that it wouldn't so I sold it to someone who could. The lace was soft and the blouse consisted of at least 5 different types of lace. I would have wished to have fit it though.
