This year I had decided to spend less money on dresses to try to save up for my trip next year but once I saw this lil' gem up on Lacemarket in aud within Australia I really needed to snap it up. I was particular about the colorway in this print and since I hadn't found this colorway up for auctions or sale that often that wasn't going for $300 usd I was lucky to find.
When I spotted this print up and for aud I instantly messaged the seller instantly and the seller was happy to payment plan the dress for 2 weeks for me :)
It took about 12 days to arrive after full payment and the wait was a pain since it normally only should take 5 at most =-= Trust ol' Auspost for parcel delays. The seller also forgot to give me the tracking too but she kept in contact with me throughout the transaction via LM messages and it did eventually show up so I wasn't too crazy about the wait.
I purchase Milky Berry OP in black :) I really was hoping for the white or black version but since the white one doesn't come up often and I'm worried about AP's red bleeding I went with the black one.
I had previously bought the mint replica but again, even though it was a well made replica I found that there was so much amiss with the replica that bugged me like the print size on the replica and the wrong colour. The real one's print size are bigger and are more vibrant which I preferred over the replica.
The dress itself wasn't in super great condition and had some water marks on it which were removable. The black fabric did seem a bit faded to me but not too much and the cat hair was scattered on the dress. The stains were removable and the cat hair were okay but the fading was a disappointment. The listing hadn't mentioned any of these flaws and was classified as "good condition" and "feeling of wear". I had questioned the seller about the stains and she said that they probably make-up residue and that she had put it in the wash ;-; I always hand wash so that was probably why the dress looked faded when I got it. Always hand wash your brank kids.
Personally, I find that it's a hit and miss with 'western' sales and used dresses compare to that buying from japan auction. I've bought from japan via auctions before and they barely had any issues normally.
Last but not least~ some detail up close shots of the print. Since the dress has full back shirring it would be great for plus-size lolita's like myself and fits a 14-16 Australian size :)
