Package Time: Angelic Pretty Dreamy Chick

Dreamy Chick

Upon my return from Bali, I was happy to see that my package I had ordered via Chibi-Tenshi has arrived! I had asked Chibi to try to win a auction before I left (which was successful) and she was able to ship the package before I got back with it arriving one day out of me getting home! So as always, 100% recommend this SS! --> Tenshishop

 Lets start!

I chose ems for the safest route to me and from the online tracking it got into Australia from Japan within 5 days which was super quick! It cost about $15aud.

Chibi always sends a little note with her service which is really sweet and a lovely touch too. Also, she chose a paper design with lil' birdies image

And here my little chick!
100% happy with this purchase and can't wait to pair it with my Happy Garden jsk.
I would 100% recommend using Chibi's service service since I have had no issues with any of my packages that I'd ever ordered from Japan and I've been using her service for about 2 years now :)

Bjd News!: My grail dolls

~My Grail Doll~

I've currently developed a map of my grail dolls which are my high priority and most of them are really expensive and are "at times" rare to come by. But my main and most holiest of the lot is the Volks Coordination Model Camilia.

My grail is: Volks Coordination Model Camilla 2013-14 in NS/WS with company make-up.

I really love this doll and her make-up so much that I am willing to pay a few bucks to get her home even though I don't have a story for her yet and all I know is that I'm 100% want her in my collection.

When I was looking up online for dolls for my first doll I had decided to try my luck and bid on her on the yahoo!japan auctions since I really really loved her sculpt  but the auction went so high my funds couldn't cover it.

Luckily at the time there was 2 separate Camilia's up for auction which I lost both of them by 500 yen ;-; I was in a bad mood for about 2 days. I found her head up for sale but it was priced at almost a third of what the fullsets went for and decided to not go for it because I would rather save and wait for a complete set to  pounce on.

The most appealing part of this sculpt is her make-up job on her lips and the shape of her eyes. I find these features so adorable and very unusual since other sculpts have a lot of pouted lips and wide eyes so Camilia's features are so different and appealing to me.

With that said at the moment I'm only looking for her in a fullset with company makeup in good - new condition. If I do find her in near to perf condition I would probably drop a few hundreds for her <3

(Late) Package time:

Hi!~

Late post that I was meant to post up last year =-=; but here it is never the less! In about September of last year I had purchase some AP items ( thanks to my bank) and was so happy to get them! I used Chibi-Tenshi as my shopping service to buy one of my 'dresses to buy this years' list, Little Bear's Cafe. She was, as usual wonderful to assist me in my lolita needs and I highly recommend her service for buying in Japan.

I revived my Package about 5 days after she shipped it off. Normally it takes 4 days to get to me via EMS from Japan but due to it being in customs it took an extra day (which wasn't a BIG deal).

The box it was shipped in was perfect! I was worried that it'll be too big and add extra weight to the content but I was pleased to see the box was a perfect fit thus, again I highly recommend Chibi.

I bought 2 items with Chibi's service. A JSK + KC and bag.

I'll show of the dress first~

The dress was wrapped in not one, but two Disney bags <3 I think Chibi might have wrapped them for me before package so thank you!

(sorry about how messy presentation is! I'll take more pic's later)

The dress came in a rather odd state, normally when I buy off Mbok all the dresses are kept in great condition but this one seems a little worn out and there is thread pulled etc. The description never said anything about this sort of 'wear' and also the pompom's on the neck straps were almost ripping off  >-> Compared to my other Little Bear's Cafe JSK in black this brown one seems to be the obvious poorer of the two unfortunately. Regardless, I did like the print and will be keeping it.

(Please excuse the orange fingers. They were not caused by the pompoms)

Another problem with the pompoms on the neckties are a different colour then the ones on the brim. At first I was unsure whether or not this was a repair job done by the previous owner and the original pompom's might have fallen off at some stage but after searching around for stock pictures etc I found that this was the correct colour >-> If anyone is thinking of buying this OP in brown then beware. I'm not sure whether or not this pompom colour differentiation shows up on the other colourways or not as the only other colourway comparison I have is black which is pretty standard black all over.

The other item I got was the AP 'Upside Down Story' bag. I was unable to get it when it first came out as my SS had tried both online and in-store without prevail. But she was able to get me one when she happened to be in-store and messaged me if I wanted it as they had only put out one so I obviously said yes! I wanted the bag the most so I'm thankful to have snagged it. This is my first brand bag to ever purchase an was so excited when it arrived.

The whole thing is leather (I think) with cards impressions in it. I love the colour and Alice metal seal along with the buckles. I absolutely adore this bag!

The bag is gorgeous and I'm afraid of using it. I mainly got this bag because it went with many of my dresses and coords. Also another reason I purchased this dress was because it remind me so much of the Melty Creamy Chocolate bag, but for less $$$.

And finally~ I love when Chibi writes her little notes. They are always nice to see and receive in orders <3

Package time : Dream infants piece + mini meet.

I finally got a skirt/salopette that I've been wanting to grab for about 2 years! So I couldn't believe my luck when someone in my comm offered up the print in the exact colorway and cut I was after so beyond happy.

I was after the Infanta print Magic Party in black salo version.

*with head bow.

I scooped up the apron skirt and head bow for about half of that of retail price and couldn't be more happier then to finally have it.

As normal shipping within Australia takes on average 3-5 days depending on where the package has been sent and how motivated your postman is. Luckily it only took 4 days for me <3

The seller was awesome enough to package the set into a bag with note which is always a lovely touch to things when purchasing goods.

I got the M-L size and was worried that the apron skirt wasn't going to fit since the measurement given fit a 75cm waist but there was a lot of elastic in the back of the waist band to accommodate my large waist and as for length it just stopped above my knees (I'm 165cm tall).

I wore this gem to a casual high tea in which I wanted to try a different style from my normal sweet wear plus it was winter so more layers and darker colours help insulate the warmth.

I had a great time at the mini high tea but I had a feeling that the skirt was ridding up a lot so will have to fix it in future. I didn't get a lot of photo's but if I do find some with me in them I'll make sure to come and post them up :D I'm really happy with this apron skirt and how my coord came out. I would 100% be wearing it out a lot! <3

2016 Update

Hi everyone,

Just an update, I’ve been trying to write and do some more posts but it’s a little bit hard for me with the time I do have available so I’m going to try post up as many within the free time have.

Anyway most of the updates are personal goals I'd like to share and other announcements that I have planned for the rest of the year :)

Personal life update:

The new year has presented me with a few things to reflect on with both myself and my situation. I’m currently studying as a dental assistant to make a proper “paying” career for myself and just recently I'm having a trial week at a dental practice to try and help me with my course. Hopefully I am successful in the trial week so that they can offer me a job as one a trainee DA. :)

Secondly, Money and weight haven't been the best lately. After some personal matters in 2015 I’ve been left with about 15 kg of weight gained that I’m trying to lose. I really want to improve myself and benefit my health to get back in shape so aim to lose at least 15 kg by June.

And money. Money has been ‘issued’ this year and last since I haven’t been making the best of choices with spending and not saving a majority of the money I do make but if I do get this DA job I should be able to improve my monies statues.

Lolita:

My interest in Lolita is the same and I still active in the fashion but with my weight as it is I’ve been careful with what I wear and what I can fit into. I’ve found (embarrassingly) I stretch out some shirring jsk’s to the point where it sags a tad =-= So being said, lolita fashion will be a motivation for myself to loose a few kg's.

I’m trying to sort out my wardrobe since I’m gravitating to a classical and sweet theme wardrobe with more of a mature colour tone instead of OTT colours. I'm also selling off some dresses to accommodate my changing wardrobe and to limit it's size. At the moment I'm aiming to only purchase key items and exclusively keep to my wishlist.

With meet’s, to accommodate my money and time I’m trying to only go to meets that really interest me and not only go for the sake of a meet-up. I do like seeing my lolita pals and dressing up in frills but I’m going to limit my outings in lolita unless I really am interested in going out for meets. e.g ice skating, gallery, picnic etc.

Hobby:

New hobby 2016!
This year I’ve taken the plunge to enter into the bjd hobby. I’ve been really into collecting and dolls and everything so with my friends encouragement I decided to buy my first doll :) But with this, it’s kinda attributed to my lackluster money situation at the moment especially with all these sales and layaway options happening.

I’ve bought a few dolls and a few on layaway atm. I’ve decided to not buy anymore dolls till I get the ones I'm still waiting on. I’m extremely excited to finally be included in this hobby since it'll give me an outlet for my creative and crafting side.

I will definitely be posting up lots of photo’s and unboxing reviews of my dolls once they come for sure ^-^ I’m also going to be attending bjd doll meets in Sydney and around my area which will be a great experience.

Friends and Stuff:

I’ve been helping one of my lolita friends with her lolita accessory business and learning about selling and buying at conventions. I'm really lucky to be able to experience this type of business style since it teaches me how to run a business and work at a convention. I normally go to conventions as a con-goer so being on the other end of the spectrum is really exciting for me. Also, I have a few trip planned with my friends and am trying to save up for them. I really want to go out and travel but as an 'adult' now I have to piorties. Yayyyy adulting is soooo funnnn ;-;
Personal project:
Lastly, my personal project. This year I've been thinking of opening two esty stores that focus on accessories and bjd goods. I'm still in the process of making the prototype products and running a business and all that stuff so stay tuned! :)

Package time : Angelic Pretty Milky Berry OP

This year I had decided to spend less money on dresses to try to save up for my trip next year but once I saw this lil' gem up on Lacemarket in aud within Australia I really needed to snap it up. I was particular about the colorway in this print and since I hadn't found this colorway up for auctions or sale that often that wasn't going for $300 usd I was lucky to find.

When I spotted this print up and for aud I instantly messaged the seller instantly and the seller was happy to payment plan the dress for 2 weeks for me :)

It took about 12 days to arrive after full payment and the wait was a pain since it normally only should take 5 at most =-= Trust ol' Auspost for parcel delays. The seller also forgot to give me the tracking too but she kept in contact with me throughout the transaction via LM messages and it did eventually show up so I wasn't too crazy about the wait.

I purchase Milky Berry OP in black :) I really was hoping for the white or black version but since the white one doesn't come up often and I'm worried about AP's red bleeding I went with the black one.

I had previously bought the mint replica but again, even though it was a well made replica I found that there was so much amiss with the replica that bugged me like the print size on the replica and the wrong colour. The real one's print size are bigger and are more vibrant which I preferred over the replica.

The dress itself wasn't in super great condition and had some water marks on it which were removable. The black fabric did seem a bit faded to me but not too much and the cat hair was scattered on the dress. The stains were removable and the cat hair were okay but the fading was a disappointment. The listing hadn't mentioned any of these flaws and was classified as "good condition" and "feeling of wear". I had questioned the seller about the stains and she said that they probably make-up residue and that she had put it in the wash ;-; I always hand wash so that was probably why the dress looked faded when I got it.  Always hand wash your brank kids.

Personally, I find that it's a hit and miss with 'western' sales and used dresses compare to that  buying from japan auction. I've bought from japan via auctions before and they barely had any issues normally.

Last but not least~ some detail up close shots of the print. Since the dress has full back shirring it would be great for plus-size lolita's like myself and fits a 14-16 Australian size :)
