Ultimate Dream Dressss!!! (sorta)

Well, it's finally here!

Through out the year and after many many failed auctions I've secured it. My dream dress. Whimsical Vanilla-chan OP.....but in pink. Oh wells, I can still look for the JSK in mint -=-;

After searching through Mbok on a faithful evening, I stumbled upon a auction for this dress. The starting bid was 5,000 yen and I immediately HAD to bid for it. It was the OP and even though it wasn't in the colour I wanted it was still the OP. The OP normally goes for about 18,000-50,000  yen so I was determined to scoop it up. There was about 2 other bidders interested which was competition. I put my max price in with Chibi and thankfully afterwards the other 2 bidders got stopped bidding and I won it! I got it for a really good price and am so sooo happy that I did!

Here it is!

I chose to ship it via un-regested airmail from Sendai to Sydney which took about 2~ish weeks. It normally takes only 1 but due to it being November and the X-mas rush it too longer.

Chibi packaged it in the perfect box! PERFECT!

Nice little card as always~

Was packaged nicely in a Btssb shopping bag. Upon first opening the box I had mistaken it for a AP bag but found it was a baby one. Quite deceiving when both brands use the same colour for their shopping bags.

And tada! The collar~ it was packaged nicely and fitted wonderfully. The dress wasn't that big and it didn't cost much to ship, around $25 Aud. I absolutely loved the collar and pearls; the pearls were the first thing I inspected and found no faults or anything wrong with the collar. Even though the listing had indicated a fault I could not fine any. win win.

( Camera Started to be stupid on me -=-;)

Now with it on my sewing form I can't express how god damn happy I am to own my dream dress in the cut I was after, not in the colour but that doesn't matter since now I can go after the JSK in mint ^-^ I love love LOVE this dress to infinity and beyond. The lace, pearls and print is everything I had imagined it would be. Perfection.

In other news: Recently just got a phone so that means better quality pictures next time.

Reunited at last!

~*~FINALLY! WE ARE TOGETHER AGAIN!~*~

After searching night and day for auctions with this print I finally. FINALLY SCORE IT! XD

This was my fist Angelic Pretty print I ever bought back when I  was getting started. I bought the skirt back in the beginning of 2013 of Candy Fun Fair in red in which I had asked the seller if the measurements of the skirt would fit me where I was answered with a yes. Bbbuutt when it came....nope. nudda. it wouldn't goddamn zip. I was heart broken.

I loved the skirt and the print, the colour and everything. Unfortunately I had to sell it off even with my attempts at trying to loose weight ;-; But thankfully a year and a few months later....and many lost auctions, I have now been reunited with my beloved print.
༼ つ ◕w◕ ༽つ joy joy!

As some may know from my Tumblr and it's influx of Candy Fun Fair related posts~ I'm extremely happy about getting this print and in a cut that fits me! I love Angelic Pretty's red colourway's they produce even though they are rather hard to coord normally, I really love this print especially the rose bouquet and carts. I never realized these details till after I had sold my skirt.

I used Chibi-Tenshi's service as always to snag the dress. I had just sold a lucky pack to a nice girl in the US and from the money had enough to buy that dress and another. I had originally stalked the dress's auction and gradually saw the listing price fall as no one was bidding on it. it originally was priced at 15,000 yen but fell down quite a bit and had a buy it now. I swooped down to snag it like the mastic thing that I am~

And here it is!

So extremely happy right now!

New AP Winter Release : Sugar Dream Dome

(Note: This series will be set to be released in store on 22nd November 2014.)

Another horse print from AP! This year's been a very horse driven year along with chocolate. This print is going to be added to AP's already long list of pony prints buuutt who's complain.

This series has been released just a few days ago but has become very popular. It's different from recent series and has a winter motif to it along with interesting colour contrasts with the pieces~ very sunset-ish tye-dye.

The series is consisted of a one piece, two jumper skirts, kc, skirt, salopette and tights in four colour choices. This series is limited to only Tokyo and Shinjuku store release but most probably will be available online. The whole series reminds me of the Marshmallow Bunny Angelic Pretty did a few years back, especially the fur jumper skirt and salopette which is nice.

I have to say that this series doesn't really take my interest as it reminds me of looking like a New Year's lucky pack. Yet if I had to choose a piece from this series I'd grab the salopette in navy or pink since the colours I think work the best. I don't know why, I don't like it as much as I should but it may be due to me coming from a hot climate with no snow ;-;

But never the less, I'm looking forward for more Angelic Pretty's releases for the rest of the year and next year.

Feeling a bit Purple today~

Recently I've been feeling  like a change in my appearance and decided to go all out and do something spontaneous  for a change and colour my hair. I've coloured my hair before but only with the little hair dye boxes you get at your local supermarket in natural shades. I had stopped dying my hair since the start of the year but found myself lacking.

To start everything, I had jokingly said that I'd get my cousin to dye my hair jokingly. But the thing is with family members that are hairdressers is that they follow through with things when hair is involved =--=; and so the next minute, I see my cousin with gloves, a bag of hair bleach and dyes so there was no backing down now.

She bleached my hair first outside.

Took about 6 hrs to get my hair that shade of blonde and I always had to wash it out with each layer of bleach. My scalp hurt like hell but I guess that was expected, couldn't bleach it white due to the fact my hair would have fallen out.  After all the bleaching was complete the colour could go on, but being my cousin she didn't get the right purple for me and brought me dark vivid ones when I asked for lilac =-=; next time I guess.

So this is the finished product.

Not the colour I  was going for and some of the purple didn't take to my hair properly but all in all it's manageable. I'm thinking of dying it green next time.

My First Lolita Meet-up!

On Sunday I attended my first meet up in Sydney! I was so excited and nervous since I hardly knew anyone there, we'll I didn't know anyone actually. I was extremely anxious and worried that I wouldn't be accepted or liked and would  only be as an awkward bother to them but I wasn't! They all welcomed me in to group instantly. I was extremely nervous and sorta awkward but everything didn't really care...well I hope no one cared.

But I'm so happy that I was actually able to go since last time I couldn't due to things getting in the way and not having enough courage to go out dresses in sweet. But I forced myself and I have no regrets. I got to meet people in my comm and see others that like the fashion as much as me so I'm beyond happy.

There was about 16 of us I think that attended which apparently was a good number that turned out and I got to see so many lovely coords and dresses (also adding a few to my wishlist hehe). Even though it was a casual meet I sort of felt a little over dresses =-=; oh wells.I really like this one girls coord and Skirt she was wearing! It was gorgeous and I had to apologize to her due to me touching the fabric and lace so much! It was Beautiful and her coord too!!! She wore a plain bordeaux  Innocent World Skirt and everything was put together well. I really liked her coord and got me thinking about maybe trying Classic.

Afterwards we went to Grill'd and ate burgers. Don't get me were here the burgers were humongous!I had to tactically attack the thing to finish it off! It tasted really nice and would defiantly be eating there again.

Also got this odd bottle cap from the cashier, he said that we could dispense it into a jar around the shop and that would equal $1 in which it'll go to a charity. Seeing that it was my first time there and out in lolita I was heartless and decided to keep it as a memento.

After lunch we went to Capitol for desert and games where I won my first Alpaca plush, I was so surprised that I actually managed  to snag one without loosing a dump  load of money or ragging a lot. I also ran into a friend of mines there which she had never seen me in lolita before and said she liked my coord ^-^
We finished the day off with Purikura and shopping at Diaso where I spent too much ;A; Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures but the next time I go out I'll make sure to take loads.  Hope to see everyone at the next meet-up/hang-out.

I don't have any pictures with me right of what  I wore (I'll upload some later)

Angelic Pretty Haul and Chibi-Tenshi Review

Hi!

I couldn't resist getting a few things from the Angelic Pretty online sale! I arrived late to the sale and missed out on a few good things but in the end I'm happy with what I ended up getting. I used the Shopping service Chibi-Tenshi. I had used her service before and this was the second time, I'm extremely happy with her service and how organised she is and would heavily recommend her service.

I chose EMS and it arrived exactly 4 days after she sent it out. I paid her shipping and she shipped my item out on the very next day. When it arrived it came in a nice sturdy box, I couldn't help myself and opened it up on the kitchen table. I had to go to the post office to get it since my post man was a dick and didn't knock on my door when everyone was home and left a little note to tell me to pic it  up. Apparently he was scared of my tiny Pomeranian -=-;

The first thing I saw was the dress! I ordered the Magical Etoile JSK. I was thinking of getting it in pink but I already had a hell of a lot of pink dresses in my wardrobe and thought I might get something different. I was originally unsure whether to get the red or navy when they first came out but chose the navy at that time. I have two Magical Etoile JSK's now, both in the colours I wanted! The JSK came in a plastic bag with coat hanger and price tag with fabric swatch. ( I tested it and the print doesn't bleed!)

I also bought 3 OTK's and 2 necklaces which I'm super happy about but think I sort of spent too much ;A; Damn sales! Anyway besides my goodies the box was filled with balls of newspaper to prevent things from breaking.

I also got this lovely card from Chibi which I love very much. It's nice to get this in order's from SS's as it makes everything feel more personal.

Apart from my AP sale order I did also ask to get the OP and bag of the Upside down story Disney x AP release but apparently that was going to be a popular release. Chibi also told me that I was 15th in line for the release and told me that she'd try to get the items I wanted but in the end she wasn't able to get any on the release date. She did a instore to try to get my items but wasn't able too get any as most of the items were gone in an instant.

In the end I'm happy I was able to get everything I wanted from the sale.

Chibi_Tenshi Shopping Service + Unboxing Royal poodle coat Review

Early in the year I bought a jacket using Chibi_Tenshi’s shoppng service. I had really wanted to get a jacket for the colder months down here in Sydney and sorta put it on my ‘things to defiantly get in 2014’ list. As I said, I used Chibi’s SS :http://chibi-tenshi.livejournal.com/163340.html .

She replied extremely fast (even with time zones differences) which was very convenient since I was afraid that I might loose out on a auction due to the time differences. She was quick to reply, pleasant to work with and lenient with pay ^-^ so my experience was pleasant with her. She has over 200+ positive reviews so felt safe with handing over my money.

Unboxing/Review
first off. I chose air as it was slightly cheaper and I felt confidant that it would arrive without getting lost since my last order from Japan there was no problems. My package did arrive 7 days after if was shipped but oddly it felt longer.

the package was surprisingly big for just a jacket but it the box was sturdy and had so many stamps! *0*. Also I would like to say that it’s best to get more then one item due to postage being rather expensive and it’s a waist to just be buying one thing.

The contents of my box ^-^ I’m pleased that it came with it’s original bag. There was some other things in it like a bag tag, swimmer tin thing and an AP sticker. I’m not quite sure but they probably came from the seller.

Better shot of the odd things :S I also got a lovely letter from her which was lovely ^-^

Such pretty writing 0-0 so jealous. My hand writing is horrendous.

The coat came wrapped in plastic and was well protected. Once out the coat looked wonderful! I love pink and leopard especially in coat form. Also I love LOVE THE POODLE APPLIQUE! OMG! The coat smelt nice and looked worn, yet not too worn that it was covered in dirt. Japaneses people take really good care of there brand :L

I was extremely happy with my AP coat and Chibi’s shopping service. will order from her again.

Free comic book day

So on Saturday some of my friends and I decided to meet up at the mega book store in Sydney since they were having a 'free comic book day' which is held once every month. The store encouraged attendee's to cosplay or dress up since they have prizes etc. I decided to take up the occasion to wear my Candy Sprinkle set that I got for Christmas.

I had trouble with my make-up (still learning) and wig so didn't take too many pictures. As usual, I walked to my train station getting the odd stare as anticipated. It took me a while to find my friends when I got there so in the mean time that I was searching for them I took some pictures in store. It was beyond packed so only took a small amount.

There was a Deadpool display <3

 All dem' ponies~

I'm not a large fan of Doctor Who but this was the biggest collection I've ever seen for sale.

MORE DEADPOOL :D

When I finally found my friends we all went to eat and also, got some stares and then afterwards we chatted as friends do. Then took some pictures of us~ I had a bad make-up/everything day so...yeah.

But all in all, I had a wonderful day out with my friends and getting the chance to dress-up even though it didn't turn out the best ^-^;

Tokyo Pirates review + Candy Sprinkle boxing 2013/ Review

Okay, so this is a review from when I got my 2013 lucky pack last year. I used this SS to get it : http://tokyopirates.blogspot.com.au/p/shopping-service-terms-and-conditions.html . The SS is an extremely lovely, pleasant, polite and hard working girl who tries her best to meet customer needs . I used her as her blog looked very professional and she was extremely wonderful to work with. It was the first time I’d ever used a SS before so was nervous about handing over a heap of money but Tokyo Pirates made sure that I was comfortable and personal and answered all of my questions without hesitation. So I was extremely pleased with this service and will continue to use her service. anyway~

(note: I did sorta rush though with with the pictures since I just absolutely wanted to get to my goodies ^-^; apologies)

The pack was sent in a sturdy box which, in my opinion was a little too big but I guess it can’t be helped. I think she didn't want the goods inside to be squished or anything.

The contents of the inside as shown with my lucky bag ^-^ I’m so happy that I managed to get one and in my desired colour way.

A La Foret sticker on the handle since she went into Harajuku’s AP store and collected it. She charges 4000 yen ($40~ Aud) for in-store/ new releases and lucky packs but she does what ever she can to ensure she get’s your pack/items.

Came with a nice little hand written thank you care from Tokyo Pirates ^-^ the other rest is on the other side and MY GOD! DOES SHE HAVE NEAT WRITING!!! *0*

The pink bag is HUGE! Perfect for storing my petticoats without them going flat. The horse and bag is matching to the Candy Sprinkle Print <3 love the moon.

Everything that was in my LP was in a large plastic bag. The little invoice is that paper but it’s all in Japanese :s

The dress is wonderful! Love it so so much <3 I wasn’t going to try to get it in the start due to the print having a rabbit in the carousal but thankfully I did get it because it’s wonderful. The only downside of this JSK is that it had no built in petticoat that Ap normally has in their prints

The back has shirring and came with the ribbon (took it off).

The lace is in a star pattern with the AP in the center of them. The lace was very soft and like the rest of AP’s lace was of high quality. I also didn’t notice that the bottom of the dress there’s little dots ^-^ blends in nicely.

Also the Bow in front is undetectable yet the straps do have button’s on them so you can adjust them to different lengths.

The button’s are also lovely, I particularly love them. They shine and sparkle wonderfully and was a great feature of the dress that drew me into to buying it. (pardon the wig strands)

The print up close. The rabbits still seem an off for me for some odd reason. I wish they’d just have the horses all the way round.

I heard that the bow sits awkwardly on peoples head and it’s true. It’s awfully big and awfully shaped. I have to wear my memorial cake bow with it to not make it look as odd on my head. The shape isn't the best and the bottom tie part always seems to be more to one side then the other.

The waist ties have the same trim as Candy Fun Fair’s waist ties which makes me happy since I hat to sell my Candy Fun Fair Skirt which I really liked.

The bag was a surprise since it was rather large! I thought it would be smaller when I first looked at the AP website but I was pleasantly mistaken. The bag is soft, another thing didn't realize and it’s very large.

The inside is lined, and has a lot of space to hold the essentials of what you need like phone, mirror, iPod etc. The zipper is sturdy and also has a little heart on the zip. Most AP bags are really really expensive so I’m so happy to be able to have this.

The OTK’s that came with it I love as well since they match and normal brand socks can cost $30 and after seeing these I think I have a new hobby. collecting brand socks.

And finally the blouse. It is absolutely gorgeous. the lace it beautiful, the quality is superb the only down side is that it is way too small for me to fit ;-; I knew that it wouldn't so I sold it to someone who could. The lace was soft and the blouse consisted of at least 5 different types of lace. I would have wished to have fit it though.

And that concludes the review.
